The UK's largest designer outlet - over 140 stores, 19 restaurants, and a range of entertainment in Ellesmere Port. But it's more than shopping. It's a full day out.
Located just off Junction 10 of the M53, Cheshire Oaks was the first designer outlet village in Europe when it opened in 1995. With a quarter of a million square feet of retail space, you'll find luxury brands such as Burberry and Ralph Lauren sitting alongside high-street favourites - all at prices that make the trip worth making.
"Up to 60% off, year-round. Europe's first designer outlet village, and still its best."
The discounts are the real draw - up to 60% off throughout the year, not just in sale season. Unlike city-centre outlets, Cheshire Oaks has the space to feel unhurried. The village layout, with open walkways and plentiful seating, means you can spend a full day here without it feeling exhausting.
The Coliseum Leisure Park next door adds another dimension to the visit - bowling, cinema, adventure golf, and a cluster of restaurants and bars. It's a genuinely complete leisure destination, not just a retail park.
I visited during the Christmas period and it was truly magical - festive lights, holiday décor, and a lively atmosphere that made it feel like a wonderland. If you can visit in December, do.
